Time files and that now it is time to say goodbye to Middle
School. Middle School has been one of the best moments ever in my life. We were
able to discover new things about our identity as well as new friends. Looking
back to 8th grade was such a magnificent year. All the hard work and
the effort we gave paid off. There were up and down parts but things turned out
in a positive way. We went through all the suffering assignments and now that
we are all grown ups, independent and responsible, we are so ready to move on
to 4 years High School! There are plenty of obstacles that are waiting for us
in High School and these obstacles are surely inevitable. I will give the best
shot out of every moment I have in High School and I am assured that a bright
promising future is ahead of me.

The Napoleon theme park
After reading an article about Napoleon the theme park, I was totally amazed by the idea. This idea is extremely creative and it would definitely benefit the new generations. By constructing this theme park would allow children from different countries around the world to explore new things about Napoleon. I strongly believe that this theme park would benefit children and they will learn new things as well as having fun. I would certainly visit the Napoleon theme park because I would like to learn more about him and his accomplishments in a different ways other than reading or watching a video.

Is courage something you have to be born with, or can you develop it?
In my personal opinion, I believe that courage is something you can develop. Everything is up to your thinking and you can actually choose the way you think and your being. Some people are automatically born with courage but some people don’t but they can however, develop it. There are different types of courage such as physical courage, social courage, and moral courage. You can develop courage just but doing it or taking actions. Have you ever heard of the saying “Practice makes perfect”? If yes, then you have to take step by step to develop your courage or improving it. People are born with different talents and constraints, by evaluating yourself can give you the idea of what you need to do to minimize your constraints. By improving yourself you can actually develop your courage and at the same time being happy with who you are and what you have. You can overcome many obstacles in your life and be anything you want to be according to the saying " Everything is possible, impossible is nothing".

Caring Citizen ESLR
A caring citizen is someone who contributes time, energy and talent to family and community. Demonstrating a commitment to the shared guardianship of the earth and its resources is also part of a caring citizen. In my personal point of view, I believe that being a caring citizen is very important. Helping others when they are suffering disappointments with fortitude and patience, helping someone who isn’t as lucky as us.
On the 27th of January 2012, 8th grade students from Ruamrudee International School made a visit to Pattaya. We were all divided into 3 different groups to complete 3 different tasks at children’s village, the blind school and a day care center. What we did during the advisement trip demonstrates that we are all caring citizens. My friends and I went to the Father Ray’s school of the blind. When we reached at our destination, we were asked to watch a video explaining what is this school about and how the school teaches their students. We demonstrated a caring citizen by helping the blind kids and played games the teachers provided for us. We were given the opportunity to actually talk with blind kids and learn more about what do they do in their daily life. After we spent 2-3 hours at the blind school, we went to restaurant before making our way back to Bangkok. I enjoyed myself doing activities and playing with the blind kids. I realized that I can be a caring citizen as referred that a caring citizen is someone who contributes time, energy and talent to family and community.

The Boston tea party
During Social Studies class, we did a seminar about the Boston Tea Party. We discussed about the reading that we were asked to do. During our discussion, some interesting questions emerged. In order for patriots to protest against the taxation on tea, the patriots disguised themselves as Indians, they sneaked onto three British ships and threw tea overboard. One of the most interesting questions that appeared was “ Are patriots actually terrorists?” In my personal opinion, I believe that patriots are not terrorists, they are loyal to their country and they were just trying to fight to what they think is correct. For example, in Thailand, there had been fighting going on between the Yellow shirts and the Red shirts. Both sides have different point of views about who should be the Prime Minister. The Red shirts want Thaksin Shinnawat while the Yellow shirts want Abhisit Vejjajiva to become the Prime Minister of Thailand. Both the Yellow and Red shirts fought against each other causing many injuries and problems, they have different point of views, however, what they did was because they both love their own country and they are trying to protect their country.
