IDENTITY

Identity means being yourself, being happy with who you are and what you have. It is not about how you look or your nationality however, identity is all about the inside of you not the outside. It doesn’t matter what people think of you, just be yourself.

In Language arts class, we read a story called “Verdi” which involves identity. Even though Verdi wasn’t happy about his skin color turning green, at last he finally realized that it doesn’t matter how he looks or what skin color he has, but it matters that who he is and what is so special about him. Identity is what makes you extraordinary and unique, which depends on many factors. There are many people in this world with different identity, so be proud with who you are and what makes you so special. You don’t have to be the same as others, but just be yourself and be proud of it. Without identity, we will all be the same and there will be no difference between us. You should have our own thinking and be proud of it instead of listening to others.

  1. When I read your blog on identity, I was amazed at the connections you made. You had some interesting and complex words that really stroked me. Your blog post is well organized and concise. By adding more examples and situations, the writing would be more vivid and meaningful. Basically, your blog post is just AMAZING! Keep it up (Y)
